Aim

Do you want to create opportunities for scientific conversations? The LIFE ”Conference” fund supports researchers who are organizing a conference to connect, learn, and innovate their LIFE science research areas. The LIFE “Conference” fund can support your conference idea to cover expenses, such as travel and accommodation fees, printing costs, or conference materials.

Criteria

The LIFE “Conference” funds will support your planned conference. The fund is open to all researchers within the life sciences at FSU Jena and/or UKJ. During the conference, a LIFE satellite event such as a panel discussion or a world café related to the conference topic must be implemented. In order to particular facilitate the participation of junior scientists (PhDs and Posdocs) to your conference, the LIFE profile intends to distribute 5-10 free tickets. Each application will be assessed in a case-by-case review.

  This fund is open to all researchers within in the life sciences must be employed or enrolled at the Friedrich Schiller University or Jena University Hospital.
